Adu Gyamfi won the ongoing regional inter-school and college boys football competition in the last game of thirty-two (32) round.

After 3-2 on penalties for Our Ladies of Grace in the sports stadium of Baba Yara on Tuesday afternoon, the former champions moved up to the sixteenth (16) stage of the competition.

The match ended 1:1 with targets for Olag and Adgass respectively set by Patrick Prempeh and Seidu Sana.

With an impressive performance in the first half, Olag started the game at a high intensity.

As they looked for the opener, Olag continued tormenting Adgass with brilliant passes.

Patrick Prempeh took advantage of the blunder of his goalkeeper at the fifteenth minute and had a diving header before the recess to open the mark to Olag.

In the second half, Adu Gyamfi grabbed the initiative by leveling the score by a controversial penalty that Seidu Sana has neatly converted to the left top corner.

Olag coach was matched by the centre’s referee when he took part in an aggressive confrontation with the match officers after the penalty kick.

Aduman kept pushing for the winner, but the replacement goalkeeper denied Sana late strike.

The match went into penalties and Adgass won Olag 3-2.

In a round of sixteen (16) on Wednesday, Adu Gyamfi SHS will lock horns with Islamic SHS.
