Check Out the schools Adisadel College will face in the NSMQ 2020 Semi-finals

Adisadel College progressed to the semi-finals of this year’s National Science and Maths Quiz after defeating last year finalists, St. Peter’s College. The contest, which was very keen saw the Zebra boys win two-points clear at the top.

They would face two-time champions Achimota School and Keta SHTS in the semis.

Achimota School advanced to the semifinal after defeating defending Prempeh College.

The winner of that contest was decided with a tiebreaker as both Achimota School and Prempeh College scored 41points each at the end of the contest.

Achimota School, after answering the question correctly, scored 43 points, with Prempeh College following with 41.

Anglican SHS, Kumasi, who also featured in the contest finished with 27points.

Keta SHTS also moved into the semis after silencing Pope John Sem. SHS.

Pope John, uncharacteristically were poor during the contest and failed to be competitive enough for the other two schools.

Ketasco finished the contest with 36points.

Navrongo followed with 29points, and Pope John’s managing some 13points.

The semi-final Achimota School, Keta SHTS, and Adisadel College is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at the R.S. Amegashie Auditorium of the University of Ghana.

The winner of the contest will progress to the grand final slated for October 8, 2020.
