COVID-19: From the President of Ghana Nurse and Midwife Trainees Association (GNMTA)

With all schools and colleges closed down as a measure to reduce the spread of the incumbent world pandemic (COVID 19), the Tutors of the various health training institutions as well as universities have adopted an electronic learning system to assist students in completing course outlines that suddenly came to a halt with the circumstances at hand.

We are best positioned as a nation to reduce the stress of moving about for lectures in the near future and making education available and easily accessible for ourselves.

I therefore humbly call on all trainees’ across the length and breadth of Ghana to accept the e-learning process implemented by our tutors to make lectures effective.

Keep yourself safe for GNMTA needs you, your family needs you, Ghana needs you, humanity needs you.
May God be with us and see us through these perilous times. God bless our homeland Ghana and make her great and strong again. Peace.
