COVID-19: Ghana’s recovery count increases to 294
294 persons have now recovered from the novel coronavirus in Ghana.
This means that 65 more people who had contracted the virus have been discharged since Saturday’s [May 2, 2020] update from the Ghana Health Service.
In Ghana, persons with the virus are declared to have recovered when they test negative to the virus twice after undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, 550 new positive cases of the virus have been recorded, bringing the toll to 2,719.
Number of recorded deaths still stand at 18 since Saturday.
