Is D7 accepted at the University of Ghana? We have been asked this question several times by our community of readers, in this post we will clear the doubt about grade D7 in the admission application.

Not long ago, Professor Kwesi Yankah the Minister of State in Charge of Tertiary Education suggested grade D7 and E8 should be considered in University admissions.

Is D7 accepted at the University of Ghana Legon?

Before we say YES or No, please take note that Professor Kwesi Yankah the Minister of State in Charge of Tertiary Education only suggested that D7 should be considered however it has not yet been accepted by various Universities.

Currently, public universities do not accept D7 for core subjects in admission purposes.

The Ministry of Education has begun consultations with the National Council for Tertiary Education (NCTE) to spell out implications of a new policy for admissions to universities and other tertiary institutions that introduces some flexibility in the consideration of non-credit passes.
