Education Minister Wins An Award From Harvard

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has been selected as the recipient of the Harvard Ministerial Medalin Ghana in 2020, in recognition of his work over the past four years to strengthen public education.

A letter signed by the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program Executive Director, Michael R. Sinclair, PhD, conveyed the Program Team’s and the Advisory Board’s congratulations on the selection of Dr. Prempeh.

Each year, one of its Alumni is chosen by the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program for special recognition of stellar progress towards achieving priority goals during their lifetime.

Relevant requirements include articulate leadership, clarity of intent, clear dedication to the goals and measurable benefits to people from the actions of the Minister.

Dr. Prempeh, MP for Manhyia South Constituency, was appointed In January 2017 by H.E President Nana Akufo-Addo as Minister of Education.

In recognition of his leadership in driving government agenda in the education sector, he has been recognized on several occasions.
