GETFund Pickup for Biakoye Education Directorate involved in an accident

An Isuzu double cabin suspected to belong to the Biakoye Education Directorate has reportedly been involved in an accident.

The accident car is among the many vehicles donated by the Ghana Education Service Trust Fund (GETFund) to education directorates throughout the country.

JoyNews sources say the accident occurred last Friday at about 4 pm on a journey from the Biakoye District in the Oti Region to the Afadjato South District in the Volta Region.

It is unconfirmed whether or not the Vehicle was on official assignment and how many persons were on board in the vehicle.

However, concern officials have as of now resist a comment on the accident.

Recall that on March 12 this year, the Ghana Education Service Trust Fund (GETFund) donated a 365 double cabin Isuzu pickups and 493 motorbikes to the Ghana Education Service (GES) and other agencies under the auspices of the Ministry.

The Ministry stated that the donated vehicles to the education directorates throughout the country are strictly for official use; monitoring and supervision.
