GIJ to begin Lectures on January 4, 2021, for 2020/2021 Academic Year [Check Calendar]

Following president Akuffo Addo’s address to tertiary institutions to re-open school on January 2021, the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) has issued a specific date for the commencement of academic activities.

According to an academic calendar for the 2020/2021 academic year, lectures are expected to begin on January 4, 2021.

The calendar, which was approved by the Academic Board of the institute at its meeting, held on November 4, 2020, was issued to the student populace today November 11, 2020.

In the calendar, lectures for the first semester for undergraduates and postgraduates will end on March 14, and March 15, 2021, respectively.

Meanwhile, lectures for the second semester will also begin on Tuesday 1st June 2021 and end on 8TH August 7, AND August 8, 2021respectively.
