GIMPA Council Swears in Prof. Martin Morgan Tuuli as New Deputy Rector
In a brief but colourful ceremony held at the GECC, Professor Martin Morgan Tuuli was sworn-in as our new Deputy Rector. Professor Tuuli has been Deputy Rector since July 1st 2020 but this was the first time he was speaking publicly.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the GIMPA Council, Kofi Darko Asante, Esq., welcomed Professor Tuuli to his new position. The Chairman spoke about the dearth of research activity in Africa as a whole. He exhorted our new Deputy Rector to bring new energy to the position, mentioning especially his desire that GIMPA is at the forefront of research in Ghana.
