GSTS Alumni Association congratulates Gt. Rear Admiral Peter Kofi Faidoo (RTD)

Old students association of the Ghana Secondary Technical School in Takoradi have sent words of congratulations to the former chief of naval staff, Rear Admiral Peter Kofi Faidoo (RTD), an old boy.
This comes retired rear admiral’s recognition of the Ghana Armed forces last Friday.
“On behalf of the GSTS Alumni Association (GAA), I want to extend our congratulations to Gt. Rear Admiral Peter K. Faidoo (Rtd), Class of 1977, who was honoured by the Ghana Armed Forces (Ghana Navy) yesterday 12th June 2020” a statement signed by the president of the Global Association of GSTS old students, Gt. Sam Boateng said.

The statement went on to reinforce the reason why the old Giant deserved the award spanning his hardworking in activities not just of the armed forces but of the old students association as well as the nation at large.

“As an alumni family, we know that this recognition is well deserved. We were privileged to witness your leadership as the Chief of Naval Staff, and the hard work and selfless dedication to our country, school, and the alumni association.

You deserve this honor and we celebrate with you. We also know that, this is just the beginning of many great things” it said
Rear Admiral Faidoo (RTD) who is an old boy of the school completed in the year 1977. He served as the Chief of naval staff from 2016 to 2018 when he retired.
He was recognized by the Ghanna Armed Forces for his immense contributions not only to the force but the building of a 16-unit officers accommodation block in Accra which is named after him.
