The leadership of the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) as part of an effort to help members of the Council during these challenging times has urged all Private Schools that applied for the government’s support package to click here.

According to GNACOPS, only private schools that applied for the government’s stimulus package through them are to use the link https://gnacopsgh.com/stimulus-package with TIN/RGD NUMBERS to search for their school details, if that school is captured by the GNACOPS.

The President Akufo-Addo in his first televised address to the nation directed for the closure of all schools throughout the country as a precautionary measure to curb the novel coronavirus disease.

Since the closure of schools on March 16, life has never been the same for teachers particularly those in private schools, in regard to this their leadership (GNACOPS) has petitioned to the Ministry of Finance for financial support.

The government has however announced a GHS600million stimulus package to financially support businesses in these challenging times of the pandemic.

Fortunately, the Deputy Minister for Education in charge of Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has asked private school owners to apply for the GHS600million stimulus package set aside by President Akufo-Addo.
