‘John Dumelo Does Not Qualify to Be a Member of Parliament’ – Socrates Sarfo Claims

Astute movie producer, entertainment commentator and the chairman of the National film council Mr. Socrates Sarfo have declared the actor and aspiring member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wogon constituency John Demelo as unfit to become a member of Parliament in Ghana.

Speaking on the entertainment review show on Peace fm, Mr. Socrates Sarfo said actor John Dumelo does not have the requisite leadership qualities to become a member of Parliament in Ghana.

This comment in response to Obours call for more creative persons into Ghana’s politics, Mr. Socrates Sarfo during his submission as a panelist said not all creative persons Qualify to get the support from the creative industry to achieve political power.

Citing Mr. John Dumelo as an example, Socrates said the actor has not done anything good even for the movie industry where the actor got his fame, “even in the movie industry he never attends meetings” with this Socrates thinks that if John Dumelo has been abandoning his own industry then he does not have the leadership qualities to lead as a member of Parliament.

Mr. Socrates Sarfo is noted as “anti Dumelo” he always criticised the actor at any slightest chance he gets with him going ahead to refer to the actor as a “slay king”
