In a statement signed by the KNUST University Relations Officer, Dr. Daniel Norris Bekoe, there are persons who are parading themselves as agents capable of securing accommodation for students.

They are also said to be spreading a fake account number on social media and are asking prospective clients to pay money into the said account.
