Miss Ghana UK 2022 unveils 11 contestants

The 2022 edition of the Miss Ghana UK competition revealed 11 contestants who will compete for the title in September this year.

Young women working in the medical field. Medical students, nurses, pharmacist, social care, mental health, creative students among others were selected on the basis of appearance, eloquence, composure, gait, etc.

Hma, Joycelyn Akusua Sirua, 20 years old,
Beryl Daisy Kukuah Affull, 26 years old, Eunice Mami Adwa Putima Ado Boku, 26 years old, Lord Nana Ashiya Agyeman, 21 years old, Yvette Abina Didi Titi,

others are,
Victims are Glinda Adwa Sirua Gaspard, 20, Esmeralda Imaa Afioh Nagy, Abigail Dudu Kabiru, 23, Manila Ann Oweny, 26, Madalina Happy Nana Ya Nkansah.
and Margherita Melody, 23 years old.

Titled “Empowering Young Women, 30 Years Miss Ghana UK Edition Yaa Asantewaa”, Miss Ghana UK focuses on beauty, style, tradition, culture and ambition.

Speaking to Miss Ghana UK Co-Director, Ms. Mavis Osei,
“We are looking forward to putting on a great show for our 30th year. We are introducing a number of new activities for the ladies that will be on display at night and during their itinerary we always take the ladies out at the end of July, for the first thing we try to do for a while,” she said.

Miss Ghana UK is the UK’s most prestigious annual beauty pageant and the longest-running pageant for black and ethnic minorities in the UK.

It is supported by the Ghana Commission of the United Kingdom and Ireland, the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (Ghana), the Ghana Tourism Authority, Made in Ghana, Desire UK, and Akwaaba UK.

Over the years, this event has established itself as a leading platform promoting women’s empowerment and the beautiful country of Ghana, by showcasing the rich Ghanaian culture, traditions and tourism to the rest of the world.
