Must Read: WAEC to Release 2020 WASSCE Results within 61 days

The non-profit-making organization says it will officially release the results of candidates who sat for the 2020 WASSCE for School Candidates within 61 days after the examination, specifically the first week of November 2020.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) commenced the marking of the prospective candidate’s scripts on Monday, September 28 nationwide.

A WAEC official speaking in an interview monitored by Georgeweb.org indicated when there are not too many errors in the script marking, WAEC in the first week of November this year will release the provisional results.

According to him, the duration of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination script marking and the result release date is determined by the RPCC, a committee under the auspices of the Examinations Council.

As the conduct of the 2020 edition of the WASSCE for School Candidates ended on September 5, 2020, Georgeweb.org can predict that the 2020 provisional results of candidates will be released on 5th November 2020. The presumed date (Tuesday, November 5, 2020) is equivalent to 61 days after the conduct of the last paper of the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination as stated by the WAEC staff in the interview.
