NOVDEC 2020: WAEC extends Registration Deadline of WASSCE (Private Candidates) to September 15

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) says it has extended the deadline for normal registration of the 2020 WASSCE for Private popularly known as Nov/Dec from August 31, 2020, to September 15, 2020.

The Council earlier scheduled for the normal registration period to end August 31 but amid the impact of the novel coronavirus and restrictions, it has proactively extended the deadline to enable more applicants to register.

The non-profit-making organization confirmed the extension of registration deadline in an email to Georgeweb.org. WAEC in the mail said “the deadline for normal registration has been extended to 15th September, 2020”.

Meanwhile, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is yet to release the provisional timetable for the conduct of the 2020 edition of the WASSCE for Private candidates to the members of the general public and students.

The Examinations Council as part of measures to slow and curb the spread of the locally transmitted coronavirus entreats everyone including its staff to wear a nose mask and strictly adhere to the coronavirus safety protocols.
