NSMQ 2020: Notre Dame Girls’ SHS (NODASS) qualifies to next stage of NSMQ Championship

Notre Dame Girls’ SHS took over the contest in round two with 14 points. They had a perfect score of 10 from solving the Problem of the Day in round three, winning the Prudential Life NSMQ Star worth GHC 2000 sponsored by Prudential Life Insurance.

The third contest on Day One, Bono-Ahafo Regional Prelims featured Notre Dame Girls’ SHS, Sacred Heart SHS, and Odomaseman SHS.

Sacred Heart SHS led round one with 10 points, Dame Girls’ SHS had 9 points and Odomaseman SHS, 3 points.

Sacred Heart SHS and Odomaseman SHS lost points in round two and went into round three with 8 and 0 points respectively.  Notre Dame Girls’ SHS took over the contest in round two with 14 points. They had a perfect score of 10 from solving the Problem of the Day in round three, winning the Prudential Life NSMQ Star worth GHC 2000 sponsored by Prudential Life Insurance.

None of the schools won the GOIL Riddle Bonanza worth GHC800; GHC200 to the three contestants and their teacher.

At the end of contest three, Notre Dame Girls’ SHS qualified to the one-eighth stage of the National Championship with 46 points.

Sacred Heart SHS as the top runner-up with 28 points gets a second chance in competing against Sunyani SHS on Day Two-contest two.
