Nursing and Midwifery Council begins issuance of New PIN/AIN Cards to Practitioners

The Nursing and Midwifery Council has begun issuing the new PIN/AIN cards to practitioners. The new Card currently has five-year validity and replaces the card with a three-year validity. Additionally, the new cards feature enhanced security measures that will reduce the likelihood of them being compromised.

The underlying technology for online payment and PIN/AIN renewal could support greater and greater capabilities for a long time to come. All cards with the three-year validity will be phased out by March 31, 2021

Good News for all

The Nursing and Midwifery Council has formed a Committee to make proposals and design a road map towards the digitization of the Patient/Family Care Study. This means that soon Candidates for the Patient/Family Care Study will no longer submit hard copies of their work.

Full details of the road map will be communicated in due course this development is part of the Council’s digitization agenda for the Council’s operations. Members of the committee are:1. Dr. Samuel Adjorlolo – Chairman2. Prof. Veronica Dzomeku- Member3. Prof. Victoria Bam- Member4. Dr. Vida N. Yakong- Member5. Dr. Nancy Ebu Enyan- Member.
