Official Competitors For The 2020 Sprite Ball Championship Girl’s Division

The Sprite Ball Championship is Ghana’s biggest and most competitive high school sports events which began in 2007.Its best celebrated for innovative school and community based sporting events in Basketball, Football and Tennis.

Formerly known as Rite Multimedia, the firm has received several awards including 2010 SWAG Meritorious Award in Ghana, 2010 3G Magazine Awards in New York, 2014 Sports Fans Award and our CEO Yaw Sakyi Afari was adjudged 2017 Exclusive Sports Man of the Year.

The 2020 Sprite Ball Championship runs from January 3 to January 4 at the El Wak Stadium in Ghana’s capital, Accra with 20 schools set to play in the grand tournament.

In the conclusion of the just ended qualifiers in the regions under the scope, these are the list of competitors in the Girl’s Division.

From the Western Region, Shama Senior High School took the lead in the division with 17-3 win over Fijai Senior High School in the final. Shama Senior High School won a bronze at the 2019 Sprite Ball Championship.

Krobo Girl’s Senior High School in Eastern Region made a return to the national competition after a long disappearance from the game while Bueman Senior High School qualified and had a lead over Mawuli Senior High in the Volta Region.

St.Louis Senior High School and Kumasi Senior High School are representing Ashanti Region with Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School(OSU) and Accra Wesley Girl’s Senior High School representing Greater Accra Region.

Here is a list of the qualified schools for next year’s Sprite Ball Girl’s Division:

Ashanti Region – Kumasi Girls SHS / St. Louis SHS
Central Region – Wesley Girls High School
Volta Region – Bueman Senior High School
Greater Region – Accra PRESEC Osu / Accra Wesley Girls SHS
Western Region – Shama Senior High School
Eastern Region – Krobo Girls SHS
