Organisers Of ‘The Spelling Bee-Gh’ Warns Parents Of Fake Owner.

The Young Educators Foundation, The Spelling Bee-Gh organizers, has warned parents and guardians of a man who claims to own the programme.

The man has been identified as Majid Abdallah-Williams according to a statement released by the Young Educators Foundation on July 2, 2020.

“It has come to the attention of Young Educators Foundation, organisers of The Spelling Bee-Gh, that one Majid Abdallah-Williams, who lists his place(s) of work as Accra Digital Centre and Main Events Companies, is passing off The Spelling Bee-Gh programme as his company’s.”

The organizers said Majid Abdallah-Williams tells uninformed parents of prospective participants, that his spelling competition has has been sending children from Ghana to the Scripps Spelling Bee in the United States.

“This is totally false and untrue. He also goes on to deceive the said parents into thinking that his sponsors are the same sponsors of The Spelling Bee-Gh,” the statement read.

The Young Educators Foundation also indicated that they hold the exclusive rights to send Ghanaian spellers who qualify through The Spelling Bee-Gh to Scripps National Spelling Bee, USA.

They further informed that their lawyers have been contacted to take legal actions against Majid Abdallah-Williams.
