18-year-old Kelvin Odartei who lives at Tabora and schools at Cosmos International has built his own Gull-wing door 2016 Tesla Model X car, after completing his BECE.
The Gull-wing door innovation is an automotive industry term describing car doors that are hinged at the roof rather than the side, as pioneered by the 1952 Mercedes-Benz 300SL race car and its road-legal version introduced in 1954.
Infact he has been driving that same car to school whiles he was writing his papers.
In an exclusive interview with UTV’s Afua Pokua, which was closely monitored by newshubgh.com the genius said he was helped by 7 financiers who are also his mates when he was building it.

On June 4, 1979 Cosmos school was established with 6 children in the proprietress’ garage at Lapaz.
The school currently has a pupil/student population of 1500 with over 5000 students who have passed through the walls of the school, we can only be thankful to the Almighty God for showing us His mercies.
The motto of the school which is Godliness , discipline and excellence is a guiding principle of the school.
The brain behind the establishment of this noble institution is Madam Grace Freda Nartey of blessed memory.
An affable, humble and a visionary tool in the vineyard of the Methodist Church of Ghana.
Madam Grace Freda Nartey is one personality who associates herself with the wise sayings of the late Nelson Mandela, the famous South African president who once said: “It is only through education that the son of a farmer can become the president of a country.”
