Photos: Fire destroys Agogo-based Salt FM in Ashanti Region
Operators of Salt FM in the Ashanti Region are counting their loses after fire gutted and destroyed properties in their studio.
The incident is said to have happened on Thursday afternoon.
No casualty has been recorded.
In a statement issued by the management of the station, they described the incident as shocking.
They also indicated that investigation in the cause of the fire has begun.
“The burning of the Salt FM studio has come as a terrible shock to the station’s management and employees. Though the incident is currently under investigation, what can be confirmed is that no life was harmed,” part of the statement reads.

Salt 95.9 FM was launched in January 2020 in Agogo, an occasion which was graced by the likes of Bola Ray, Abeiku Santana, and Obour.
The station is owned by Ghanaian businessman Ohene Kwame Frimpong. He recently came to the news after suing Rev Obofour over GH¢190,000 debt.
PS: This is really sad and we wish Ohene Kwame Frimpong well in these trying times. Hope to see Salt 95.9 FM bounce back very soon.
