Champions of the 2020 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), Presbyterian Boys School (PRESEC) have paid a visit to the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Seth Amoama on Friday, 6 November 2020 at the Naval Headquarters in Burma Camp.
The visit was arranged by the PRESEC old boys in the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) for which the CNS is the Chairman. The CNS welcomed the champions to the headquarters and congratulated them for winning the award for the 6th time. He described PRESEC-Legon as best among the best schools in the country and urged the teachers and students not to rest on their oars until they win the trophy for the 10th time.
Rear Admiral Seth Amoama presented the winners with the Ghana Navy at 60-anniversary coins and wished them well in their endeavors. The NSMQ winners, Kwami Kekeli Dakpetor, Benjamin Nketia, and Isaac Gyimah visited the company of the Assistant Headmaster (Academics), Mr Ebo Sey and the team of teachers who trained the victors for the competition.
Present at the short visit was some executives of the GAF chapter of the PRESEC old boys’ association. The winning team and their staff were later hosted for a lunch by the GAF old boys at the General Headquarters Command Officers’ Mess.
