Press Release: Coalition of NABCO Trainees (CONAT) acknowledges promise by NDC in their Manifesto on Permanent Employment
PRESS STATEMENT
COALITION OF NABCO TRAINEES , CONAT
NDC MANIFESTO PROMISE TO MECHANIZE NABCO TRAINEES IS A POSITIVE STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, A REPOSITORY OF BEST *PRACTICES OF POLITICAL PLURALISM *AND* THE SAME TIME A BIG CHALLENGE TO THE RULING GOVERNMENT TO BREAK ITS SILENCE ON NABCO TRAINEES PETITION FOR PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT
CONAT on behalf of NABCO Trainees has acknowledged and recognized the promise in NDC just ended Manifesto cited to offer NABCO Trainees permanent employment. The association recognizes the promise as the best practice of multiparty democracy, a vibrant interplay, and dictate responsibility of an opposition party which seeks to aspire to improve upon the policies of any ruling government.
Eventually, the promise dovetails into Nabco Trainee’s Germaine sentiment and grievances to seeking for permanent jobs base on our credentials and the sacrifices we’ve demonstrated in the corporate environment. Congratulations to NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS, NDC for recognizing the scheme and urgent need for beneficiaries to be holistically transitioned into sustainable employment.
NABCO trainees for some considerable months now have been craving for sustainable livelihood ahead of our exit pathways by our incessant appeal for permanent employment and we must confess that our petition submitted to stakeholders is yet to receive graceful consideration amid the ongoing recruitments in the public sectors.
Our focus is “the request for permanent jobs” and therefore commend active voices which engender the actualization of our collective appeal. We Respectfully urge the CSOs, the corporate institutions, the general public and the media fraternity to add voice to our appeal for permanence and firmly decline all unsolicited voices and partisan proliferation on the media which seek to tag and associate the entire identity of NABCO trainees to partisan sole-sourcing. NABCO trainees remain neutral in the corporate field to foster the continual merit of the corporate amnesty through the heads of departments who have been gracefully recommending trainees for permanent opportunities. We wish to reiterate that the media should avoid the aforesaid tsunami of infection, insensitivity and callous activities of the group whose leader forged his way into NABCO without certificate but rather fighting aggressively to ride on the reputation of NABCO trainees to build political capital from the ruling party.
“Permanent employment now” is our slogan as we hope to determine and justify the kind courtesy of the government by full consideration of trainees under the educate Ghana module regard to the financial clearance received by Ghana Education Service to recruit 27,367 teachers.
Thank you all .We are Nation Builders
