Re-opening: Akosombo International School changes Examination Date and Registration Deadline

The Management of the Akosombo International School following the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on schools says it has made changes to the Examination date and registration deadline.

The new date for the conduct of the examination is Saturday, September 26, 2020, at 9.00 am prompt whilst the registration process ends on Friday, July 31, 2020.

The registration fee for all programmes is Two Hundred and Fifty Ghana cedis (GH¢250.00) Candidates (Snacks inclusive).

The school urges interested applicants should buy Registration Pin/Serial Number at the nearest Zenith and GCB Banks, and proceed to register online at this website:

According to the management, admission into Akosombo International School would be solely based on candidates who have completed Basic school (Year 9/JHS 3 levels) who write and pass the School’s Entrance Examination.

The entrance examination will be held at the three centres below:
(i) Accra High School, Accra.
(ii) Chemu Senior High School, Tema
(iii) Akosombo International School, Akosombo

Candidates must remember to:

(i) Upload recently took passport size photos to E-Forms for identification
(ii) Indicate their choice of Programme.
(iii) Indicate their preferred Examination Centre.

According to the school authorities only shortlisted candidates will be contacted after the examination
