Sefwi Bodi SHS emerges winner of 64th Pre-Independent Day Quiz Competition

Sefwi Bodi Senior High School has emerged the regional winners of the 2021 Pre-Independent annual quiz competition.

The competition which formed part of activities to mark Ghana’s 64th Independent Day, saw three students contesting for each of their respective Schools and had three rounds.

Four schools competed in the finals. The schools include Sefwi Bekwai Senior High School (SEBESS), Bia Senior High Technical School (BIASECTEC), Bodi Senior High School, and St. Joseph Senior High School.

Sefwi Bodi Senior High School amassed 51 points to emerged winners, whilst Sefwi Bekwai Senior High School placed second with 41 points.

Bia Senior High School and St. Joseph Senior High School took the third and fourth position with 30 and 27 points respectively.

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Western North Regional Education Directorate, Mr Spanklin Ofori, congratulated all the contestants for the hard work from the zonal level to the grand finale.

He called on the winners to study hard and prepare ahead of the national competition.
