St.Dominic’s Senior High School Wins 2019 Ghana-Japan Yosakoi Dance Festival.


This year’s Ghana-Japan Yosakoi Festival held at the Ghana Police Headquarters Fitness and Social Center throughout this weekend has ended successfully with Debutants St. Dominic’s Senior High School rising victors.

They were presented with two major boxes of geisha by Kawasho and ito-ya together with a delightful schedule for the school.

The occasion was spoken to by over 11 schools across the districts including St Paul’s Technical school, St Peters Senior High School, Kibi Senior School, St. Martins Senior High School and the Center for Asian examinations.

Other schools includes St. Roses Senior High School, St Karol School of Nursing, Good Shepherd Academy, Accra Japanese School, Legon Center for International Development-LECIAD, and Mary Star of the Sea global school.

There were extraordinary move exhibitions from Japanese prestigious break hip bounce artist Gome and caffeine who excited the whole group with some mixed neighborhood and hip jump move moves.

The occasion displayed the excellence of Japanese culture in connection to nourishment, attire, and move. The bon Odori move was the most entrancing as it attracted all present to join the move. The Ghabuiki Dance by Daniel and his group was fabulous as it depicted unadulterated Japanese Samural circumstance.
