Teens dazzle on runway at Ghana High School Fashion Week (GHSFW)

The maiden edition of Ghana High School Fashion Week (GHSFW) which came off at the Triple Hill Hotel, Kasoa weeks ago saw a host of different students from different schools take the runway.

Models from schools such as Abuakwa State College, Mfantsiman Girls, Labone Senior High, Methodist Girls High School and other schools took turns in displaying their fashion and style prowess.

Kwesi Fenny, founder of Model TV Ghana, organizers of the event told livefmghana.com he was determined to hold a successful show inspite of disappointment from sponsors and owners of the venue where the event was held.

Some winners were Angela Maama Ama Obenewaa as Face of GHSFW, Teen Model of the Year– Angela Maame Ama Obenewaa, 1st Runner up – Keziah Ofori, 2nd Runner up- Vanessa Hilman, Runway Model of the Year – Vanessa Hilman, Photo Model of the Year-Priscilla Ama Badu.

“Honestly I lost hope at the beginning because most of my competitors were in form 3 and I kept thinking about how to garner votes,” shared Badu, a student of Action Secondary Technical School.

“I didn’t know how to walk in long heels too but professionals trained us so everything was okay.”
