Tema Secondary School (TEMASCO) Holds Workshop for Final Year Students

Tema Secondary School (TEMASCO) management has arranged a day mentoring programme for the school’s final year students.

The programme was sponsored by the chaplaincy Board of the School in partnership with the Tema Secondary School Old Students Association (TOSA).

The aim of the mentorship was to inspire more than 690 students to believe in themselves and take their studies seriously to become responsible citizens.

According to Mr Kwadwo Baah, TOSA’s Assistant Organizer and Fixit ICT Center’s Business Director, the program provided an opportunity for the old students to give back to the school.

Dr Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah, Director at the Ministry of Sports and a patron of TOSA-UG, motivated the students to be careful of their bad habits and attitudes adding that is the only thing that could prevent them from achieving their dreams.

Dr Owusu-Ansah, who was a former Director at the University of Ghana Sports Directorate, advised the students that there is no shortcut to success, he added that they must be focused and work towards their aspiration

Mr Victor Adjei, Chief Executive Officer, CEVAG Group, speaking on the topic: “Thinking ahead: the pathway to excellence,” reiterated the benefit for the students to study hard and believe that they could one day make an impact in the society.
