Two-time NSMQ Champions – Achimota School – gets closer to reclaiming NSMQ trophy

Will Achimota School make history by grabbing their third trophy after a 16-year drought?

Day Two at the NSMQ One-eighth Stage saw two-time NSMQ Champions, Achimota School (1998, 2004), showing off in a contest against Adventist SHS, Bantama and St. Hubert Seminary SHS. As the first contest of the day, Achimota School set the tone with an incredible performance that ended with an impressive 42 points for the former champions.

Adventist SHS, Bantama led Round One but could not maintain their momentum throughout the contest. Irrespective of their tough competition, they ended the contest in second place.

None of the contestants got close to winning the Prudential Life NSMQ Star in solving the Problem of the Day.

In Round Five, Adventist SHS, Bantama was on fire , answering three out of four riddles correctly to win the GOIL Riddle Bonanza, worth GH₵1200.00 at the One-eighth Stage.
