Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has today, Wednesday, 17th June, 2020 signed a Memorandum of Commencement with Kingdom Books and Stationery Limited at the Council Chamber, North Campus, UEW.
This is to enable Kingdom Books and Stationery Limited (KBSL) to commence the construction of a purpose-built UEW Bookshop at the University’s North campus. By the agreement signed today, UEW has granted access to KBSL to commence the project to ensure early completion.

In brief remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni expressed hope in the operators to give the University’s Bookshop an ultramodern facelift.
In his response, the General Manager, KBSL, Mr. Peter Gyateng assured Management of his outfit’s eagerness to deliver a quality task.

When completed, KBSL is expected to bring to bear its over 45years of experience in supplying quality books and other office essentials to enhance the delivery of quality educational processes at UEW.
Present at the short ceremony were the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Andy Ofori-Birikorang; Principal, COLTEK, Prof. Frederick Sarfo; Principal, CAGRIC, Prof. James Kagya-Ayemang; Dean, FES, Prof. Samuel Hayford; Finance Officer, Mr. Francis Obeng; Deputy Registrar, HR, Mrs. Deborah Afful; and Senior Assistant Registrar, HR, Mr. Isaac Yaw Manu.
The General Manager of KBSL was accompanied by the Warehouse Manager, Mr. Isaac Kofi Arkhust and Financial Controller, Mr. Peter Akomaning.
