UG-Legon 2020/2021 first semester courses registration period ends today
University of Ghana students were reminded that they have until the end of today, Friday, February 5, 2021, to complete their registration for the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. In a notice to the University’s Office of Academic Affairs, students have reminded that refusal to register meant that they had forfeited their semester registration rights.
“The SRC request for an extension was denied so there wouldn’t be any extension this time around. I am urging them to think seriously and register or do whatever they are supposed to do within today,” he said.
There will be no renewal of the registration period this year. Abdul Salam Mohammed, head of the academic committee of the Council of Student Representatives, said their request to university officials to extend the deadline failed.
Despite this, Abdul Salam Mohammed said his office still receives complaints from students regarding some of the problems encountered during registration. Although the renewal request was denied, Salam Mohammed says he will continue to communicate with the authorities handling the issue.

“I am still going to speak to her because as of now, I am still receiving complaints that people are not able to register even though they have paid their school fees and the mail pertaining to the accounts office has been blocked. I am still trying to give her more reasons why there should be an extension,” he added
