The Registrar, Mrs. Mercy Haizel-Ashia, has donated two hundred and fifty (250) reflective jackets to the Security Services Unit.

At the presentation ceremony, the Registrar noted that there had been a number of burglaries in recent times, prompting the Security Services to intensify its night patrols, especially, around the residential areas.

She said it is part of measures to enhance the visibility of our security men, especially in the night, their ability to ensure deterrence to miscreants as well as engender confidence the university’s internal publics that she made this modest presentation.

The Registrar was hopeful that the University’s internal and external publics would complement the University’s efforts in providing the Security Services Unit with the needed resources to ensure the campuses of the University continue to be safe for all members of the community.
