The Project is aimed at beautifying the University and providing an avenue for relaxation when students find themselves on campus, among other things.
The Project is however located behind the Mensah Sarbah Hall, close to the Sarbah field en route to the Night Market at the Valco Hall.
The Vice-Chancellor’s Green Project
Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, in his vision to propel the image of University of Ghana in the global arena, launched the green project in 2016
The Project, which is cochaired by Professor Chris Gordon and Dr. Benjamin Ofori, is responsible for the proper segregation and disposal of waste and also aimed at bringing together all student leaders, students in general and all corporate bodies to engage in a Tree planting exercise on some selected areas on campus.
