University of Ghana residential portal is expected to be opened on January 5, 2020, a report from the office of Junior Common Room of Mensah Sarbah Hall within the University confirmed yesterday in a news release.
Each year, University of Ghana gives its students the freedom to choose their hall of preference unlike other Universities where halls are given to students’ by default. The system is said to be a replication of Lincoln University in the United Kingdom where Students are allowed to apply for rooms from their preferred options, depending on demand.
Despite the challenges, the aspersion of this system has proven success for the past years.
Only rooms in the traditional halls and UGEL halls (Diasporas) will be shortlisted online for application.
It should be noted without any cloak of obscurity that the online residence allocation System shall be opened for admitted Students on Main Campus
That means all students who have been admitted at full time Legon campus and Korle Bu Campus are required to make residential application.
Going forward, students who wish to stay out of campus must select non-residence in the application process.
You should note that all University fees payable by students are to be paid to appropriate University account numbers at designated banks For the 2020/2021 Academic Year.
Forget about the online hall application if you don’t have active internet for applying.
