
UPSA Law Students Union (LSU) Set to Explore COVID-19 Impact on Women at Maiden Conference
The Law Students’ Union (LSU) at the University of Professional Studies, Accra is set to organize a maiden International Women Conference on September 03, 2020. The event which is under the theme: “Changing the narrative: the impact of Covid-19 on women globally,” is expected to bring together renowned gender activists and lawyers under one turf.
The conference will draw distinguished guests from various fields, including private legal practitioners such as Fatimata Sorie, Mrs Isobel Afful Mensah Esq, and Diane Kaye.

The International women conference will afford participants and guests the opportunity to discuss the impacts of the Covid-19 that continues to confound the world, on women.
The program would be moderated by Ms. Sharon Torsu, a final year Law student and Myda Klutse who is also with the UPSA Law Faculty.
The International Women Conference is the latest event to be organised by the current leadership of the LSU.
