WAEC extends Registration Deadline for Wassce for Private Candidates (NOV/DEC 2020) again

The Management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has proactively extended the registration period of the for 2020 Nov/Dec (WASSCE PC) to August 31, 2020.

The registration period was expected to end last month June 30, 2020, but due to the global pandemic, it has been extended to a more suitable date.

The Council says its decision to extend the registration date is amid the effect of the global COVID-19 pandemic on the examination calendar of the West African Examinations Council.

The extension will also give applicants who have not register yet the opportunity to do so before the Council ends the registration period.

It added in a statement copied to Georgeweb.org that, at the appropriate time a provisional timetable for the conduct of the Private examination will be made available to the general public and stakeholders.

As part of efforts to support the government in the fight against the COVID-19 that has claimed 129 lives of July 7, 2020, WAEC entreats everyone to adhere to the safety protocols put in place to slow the spread of the virus.
