WASSCE 2020 Updates Beyond Lockdown – Deputy Education Minister Speaks


With regards to rumors circulating around on the 2020 WASSCE timetable, Dr. Adutwum has took it upon himself to clearify all 2020 WASSCE candidates on Sunday night on Joy news on a show “Beyond the Lockdown,” the program was designed to interact with students accross the country on matters concerning their education in this crucial era.

The exams which was set to begin last month, April was postponed indefinitely due to the outbreak of the global pandemic at hand now.

Mr.Adutwum make it clear last night that “there is no WASSCE timetable out yet and that students should be patient enough and wait for the Director of the Ghana education service.

He said measures are been put in place for the Director to give us the next plan of action and therefore urged all students to remain calm as we wait for him.

Mr Adutwum also indicated that the Ghana education service is reviewing directives on the use of electronic gadgets in schools.

He concluded by giving advice to all students and the general public to always put on nose mask for their own health and also to help the government to fight this novel Covid 19.
