“You see, this eye doesn’t blink,” he said in June 2022. “I can’t smile on that side of my face. This nostril won’t move, so there’s complete paralysis on that side of my face. So those of you who are frustrated by my cancellation of the following shows, from Obviously I’m physically unable to do it. It’s very dangerous as you can see. I hope that’s not the case.”

Justin warned fans last year that it was only a matter of time before his facial movement returned. He noted that facial exercises were part of his recovery process.

“It’s just about time, and we don’t know how long it will be, but it’s going to be okay. I have hope, and I trust in God, and I trust that it’s all for a reason,” Justin said in the 2022 video.

About three months later, in September, Justin decided to cancel the remainder of his world tour to continue his recovery.

He delivered the news by saying:

“After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and team, I went to Europe to try to continue touring. I did six live shows, but it affected me badly. Last weekend I sang at a rock concert in Rio, giving my all to people in Brazil. After coming out of At that point, exhaustion consumed me and I knew I needed to make my health a priority right now. So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’ll be fine, but I need time to rest and get better.”

By November, Justin has the podium back – this time, in honor of Tykov at his funeral. Rapper Migos was fatally shot in Houston that month after a dispute outside a bowling alley.

Although the video is the first we’ve seen of his face in action, Justin also shared a side-show of his wide grin three days ago while he was photographed with wife Hailey Bieber.

On February 7, the pop singer shared two selfies on Instagram — one alone and one with friends in the car. In the single shot, he is bent over, catching a fish in a pond and a slight grin of mouth. He had the same facial expression in the group shot.

After analyzing the photos, we should note that it appears that the right side of his smile was not curved upward like the left. This could mean that Justin’s improved smile is a modern blessing!
