‘We put WeyGeyHey in their place;’ Holico Contestants after missing out on Semi-finals

Despite crashing out of the 2020 National Science and Maths Quiz, Holy Child School is happy that they finished above regional fellows Wesley Girls.

Holy Child School lost to Opoku Ware in their quarterfinal contests.

At the end of the contest, Holy Child scored 40points, three points above Wesley Girls High School.

Whilst the two all-girls schools have suffered the same fate, contestants of the Holy Child School are relieved that they score more points over Wesley Girls.

Speaking to UniversNews after their contest, Samantha Ghartey said;

“It was cool. It was fine. Everything was fine, I am glad we put Gey hey in their place,” she said.

She added that;

“We expected to get to the finals at least but our performance was better than the last year but we will do better in subsequent years”

A tutor with the Holy Child School also expressed satisfaction with the performance of the students.

He maintained that he was not disappointed that they lost.
